As the summer comes to an end we are delighted to offer you this fabulous overnight stay at the 4* DOUBLETREE by HILTON, OXFORD BELFREY HOTEL in Thame. Staying on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis, this hotel boasts Indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, pampering treatments (additional cost) games room, lounge & bar. Our journey on Sunday will see us visit nearby OXFORD which is full of history, culture, architecture, famous Randolph Hotel, churches and much more.
The Midsomer Murders fully guided walking tour takes approximately ninety minutes and will include a visit to every filming location in the town by a knowledgeable guide, who will welcome you to the ‘Midsomer County’ where the countless murders in the hugely popular ITV show took place, and were relentlessly solved by DCI BARNABY and his faithful sergeant, the town of Thame was frequently used either as CAUSTON or as any, of the many villages in the fictional Midsomer county.
This will be a fascinating excursion for all Midsomer Murder fans & will be followed by some free time to explore the town yourselves, later at the Hilton Oxford Belfrey Hotel a Delicious Afternoon Tea will be served before we depart for home.
