Grassington 1940’s Weekend ~ DAY EXCURSION

During this fabulous weekend, this small, picturesque market town in the North Yorkshire dales is transformed as they recapture life in war time Britain. we will travel over on the Sunday so please join us for this unforgettable experience, with many visitors, some dressing in vintage clothing you will be transformed back to the 1940’s, so dust off your dancing shoes & get your finest forties attire on – as they turn the clocks back to the war time era, and take a walk around the cobbled streets towards the town hall for the many vintage stalls as they blend into the backdrop of Grassington’s charming cottages and scenic landscape.

See this memorable decade brought to life as the action-packed events unfold, full of MUSIC & SONGS from bygone days. Plus, amazing swing dancing, vintage cars & truck displays, army memorabilia, military enthusiasts & vehicles, bands, rousing sing-a-longs & all day entertainment from the fabulous Jeep Johnson, The Alkaseltzer Sisters, Earby Brass Band, Paul Frank Harper, The Rum & Cola Girls, Lancashire Belle and so many more.
