This year’s LYTHAM 1940′s weekend & our day excursion will be held on 17th August, please join us as we travel over to this event on Lytham Green which will be transformed back to war time 194o’s Great Britain, vintage vehicles, home front living history, battle re-enactments, and vintage traders ~ with clothing, uniforms, memorabilia & knick-knacks of yester-years for you to purchase. The entertainment marquee with licensed bar & featuring fabulous singing from the Bluebirds uk, Colin Bourdiec as George Formby, music & dancing  from the resident 40’s D.J. Plus a 1940’s ‘Re-invintaged’ fashion show today & also look out for Winston Churchill aka Derek Herbert with his rousing speeches.

Away from the green just 100 yards away, Lytham Town Centre, really enters into the 1940’s spirit, with many shops dressed with bunting & sandbags, as they re-live the wartime era, with many folk digging out their gorgeous 1940’s outfits and dressing for the occasion.
